Would be happy to recommend for a brief visit
Cozy room, friendly staff, our experience was elevated by the availability of in-room snacks and the well-stocked breakfast table, along with an outstanding location just a 15-minute walk from a nearby transport station.

balcony view of St Peter's Basilica, close proximity to bus routes, substantial in-room snacks
The shower cubicle needed an update, quite cramped and doors didn’t close well!!! Pillows could be softer for a more comfortable sleep. A little more attention to small maintenance details would be appreciated!!!

Had an awesome stay! Massimo and Sandro were kind, even brought us extra pillows. The place is super spacious and clean, and breakfast was more than enough. Only thing is, the shower's a bit cramped. Will definitely return!

Rooms with a Vatican View
The Colours of Rome Hotel is tucked away just a stone's throw from the Vatican, offering beautiful rooms with stunning views of St Peter’s Basilica. The hosts, Massimo and Sandro, were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. We particularly enjoyed the self-service kitchen stocked with delicious snacks, perfect for late-night munchies.
While the location is fantastic, we did face a bit of confusion when trying to navigate the room layout. Some signage improvements would make it easier for guests to find their way around. Additionally, I wish the shower had a bit more space for comfort.

Hosts were incredibly welcoming and tended to our every need, like providing extra soft pillows when requested. Every room was kept spotless, and having a fridge in the room helped us keep snacks cool, notably the delicious Singapore noodles available. However, the shower was on the cramped side and could use some updates, and there was some noise from the street that might affect sleep. Finding parking was a challenge, so planning ahead is advisable.

My wife says that the beds could be a bit softer.
